" There is no individual in the world who is a single doer. It is “federal causes” i.e. it is collective causes called scientific circumstantial evidence. "
― Dada Bhagwan , The Science of Karma
" What are merit (Punya) and demerit (Paap) karma? God resides in every living being in this world. So do not have an inner slightest intent to hurt any living being. Otherwise, you will bind demerit (paap) karma for the wrong doing. And when you have the intent to give happiness to others or when you give the slightest happiness to others, then you give happiness to God, for which you will bind merit (punya) karma. "
" Who created merit and demerit karma (paap and punya)? The society? No. they are a natural phenomenon. "
" The one who is afraid of doing wrong (paap) that is considered to be a Great Knowledge. "
" If you follow the understanding of a person who is free (from worldly bondages), you will become free. If you follow the understanding of the one who is bound, you too will be bound. "
" What is the nature of merit karma (punya)? It will be spent. There may be a thousand ton of ice, but what is its nature? It is to melt away. "
" If anything, other than our own ‘Real Self’, remains in our memory, it is all vishaya [subjects of pleasures that take one away from the Self] "
" Sang (company of people) is not a problem but it should not have a bad effect on you. It is infectious. "
" Kusang (the company of bad people) is that which takes you away from the religious path. Stay far away from it; Kusang is itself a poison. "
" The one who wants to endure the worldly life, he should carry the weapon of the ego, and the one who wants freedom from the worldly life, he should let go of the weapon of ego. "
" The Lord himself called it kusang (company of bad people)! He did not do it out of abhorrence. Nor has he called it ‘satsang’ (company of enlightened one) out of attachment. He spoke with non-attachment ‘this is satsang’ and ‘this is kusang’. The scars of kusang (company of bad people) do not go away for thousands of life times. That is why we tell you to ‘remain seated in satsang’. "
