" The absence of misery is the first stage of moksha (liberation). The absence of the body, everything else is the second state of moksha (liberation). "
― Dada Bhagwan , The Science of Karma
" If you ask God what is all this? He will tell you that it is nothing. Everyone is experiencing their own karmas (deeds). "
" What should a human being be like? He should be awe-inspiring. Just the sight of him inspires good thoughts and makes one forget the worldly life. "
" Upon death, the account that was of ‘Chandubhai (the relative self)’ has to be left behind. Nothing comes with us. Take absolute care from the time the account of ‘Shuddhatma’ is opened (when self realization occurs). "
" What is the rule of God? He does not bind the one who wants to become free, and the one who wants to be bound, He never lets him go. "
" How long does one remain in a human life (the other being animal & hell)? As long as he does not take what is not rightfully his. "
" Having made a firm decision not to slip, if one still slips, it is not a mistake but it is a mistake to slip when one has not even made a firm decision not to. "
" Bondage of worldly life cannot tie us down; such is the knowledge of Vitrag (Enlightened One). Our ‘Self’ is such that it can never be tied down. Recognize (know) that ‘Self’, attain the Knowledge of the Self; such is the Soul. "
" Whatever firm decisions (nischaya) you have made; only those will bear fruit. You do not have to do anything else. "
" No circumstance interferes with the one whose attachment and abhorrence towards the body are gone. Circumstances are not the obstacles, attachment and abhorrence is the real interference. Circumstance is a gneya (that to be Known) and you are a Gnata (Knower). "
" Ignorance of the Self (agnanta) is indeed fear. "
" Worldly efforts (laukik purusharth) are all an effect (prarabdha – effect of past life causes). To work in one’s profession is an effect (prarabdha). To give sermons, is also an effect. Even listening to this satsang is an effect. That in which there is dependency upon other things; it is all effect (prarabdha). "
" You have innumerable circumstances. Lord Mahavir too had circumstances, but they were only numerable/countable. He said, ‘Not a single circumstance is mine and I do not become one with any circumstances. "
" The main doer is pudgal (the non-Self complex of input and output), whereas atma (the relative self) is an instrumental doer. "
" Starting from being in the mother’s womb to all the way to the cemetery, everything one does; it is all an effect (prarabdha - effect of past life causes). It is all mandatory. "
" Whatever ‘wrong’ the world is doing; it is all dependent on prarabdha (effect of past life causes) and whatever ‘good’ it is doing; that too is dependent upon prarabdha (effect of past life causes). "
" Shukladhyan (internal state that renders the constant awareness of ‘I am pure Soul’) is the direct cause for moksha (liberation). Dharmadhyan (absence of adverse internal state of being that hurts the self and others) is the indirect cause for moksha. Artadhyan (adverse internal state that results in hurting the self) is a cause for a birth in animal life form (non-human). Raudradhyan (Adverse internal state of being that hurts others) is a cause for a life in hell. "
" What is punya (merit karma) and paap (demerit karma)? No one runs this world. But still, the circumstances of merit and demerit karma, runs this world. "
" Display these signs in your shop: 1) Enjoy that which you receive - Do not worry about that which you have not received. 2) Fault is of the sufferer. 3) Dishonesty is the best foolishness! "
" Merit Karma (punya) has made one wander in the worldly life. Merit Karma brings together sensual pleasures (of 5 senses), from which arises deceit. Temptation to indulge in pleasure is the reason that gives rise to deceit. And deceit gives rise to the worldly life. Deceit and revengeful enmity is the reason this worldly life remains in existence. "
