Stacey Urrutia

A graduate of Princeton University, I began my career in cancer research and then moved into health-care marketing. Like millions of other women, I though starting a family would be easy. Years later, and still childless, I wondered whether I would ever be a mother. My passion to share our story inspired me to write this memoir in an effort to help others. It's a subject matter that is rarely talked about with this degree of intimacy and detail, which is why so many women/couples feel alone in their despair. Today, I am happy to report that we have two little boys. I love to spend time on the lake with my family, cook, and go on walks with our dog, a 115 pound Rhodesian Ridgeback.
