Wayne Northey

Wayne Northey retired as Director of Man-to-Man/Woman-to-Woman – Restorative Christian Ministries (M2/W2) in British Columbia, Canada in 2014. He has been active in the criminal justice arena and a keen promoter of Restorative Justice since 1974.

He has published in this field for many years, including: with Pierre Allard a chapter on “Christianity: the Rediscovery of Restorative Justice”, in The Spiritual Roots of Restorative Justice , Michael L. Hadley, editor, Albany: State University of New York SUNY Press, 2001; co-authored with Hugh Kirkegaard, “The Sex Offender as Scapegoat: Vigilante Violence and a Faith Community Response”, in the anthology, God At Work, Ottawa: Chaplaincy, Correctional Services Canada (or available at this website; and published a chapter about the atonement and restorative justice in the collection of essays: Stricken by God? : Nonviolent Identification and the Victory of Christ, edited by Brad Jersak and Michael Hardin, Abbotsford: Fresh Wind Press and Grand Rapids: Eerdmans, 2007.
