Jon Stone

Jon is a writer-editor who specialises in hybrid forms, sequences and collaborations, a “poet of fantastic inversions” (Poetry London). He won an Eric Gregory Award in 2012 and the Poetry London prize in 2014 and 2016.

With Kirsten Irving, he has edited and published a number of multi-author anthologies which bridge the gap between poetry and other genres, including writing on games and film, nature guides, activity books and comics.

He completed a PhD in poem-game hybrids in 2020, and book of his research, 'Dual Wield: The Interplay of Poetry and Videogames' will be published by DeGruyter in 2021.
