The presence of their toxic attitudes and negative auras leave me feeling drained and dispirited. They are like weeds that could choke and suffocate, or stunt and overtake my emotional well-being. Perhaps it is unrealistic to think that I can rid my human garden entirely of all unpleasant people. But, I can and do choose to limit my interaction with them. "
