" You will fear the one you have contempt for. There is contempt for a snake, a tiger; that is why you are fearful (of them). "
― Dada Bhagwan , Science of Money
" Real science is that which accepts the relative (vyavahaar). That which disregards the relative is not considered as Real science. "
" The Vitarag path, the path of the enlightened ones, is such that there is a gain for both the giver as well as the taker, whereas in the worldly path, the giver incurs a loss and the taker gains a benefit. "
" All these are [relative] tools (sadhan) and that too, they are not subtle (sthool). One will have to go into the subtle (sookshma) [state]. What would happen if the tools themselves are believed to be the ultimate goal (sadhya)? "
" When there are earnings, you have to be on a look out of where you will spend your earnings. And when the expenses come your way, you have to be strong that the evidence to repay the debts has come. Income is a resposibility and expense is the means to clear off the responsibility. "
" Your worldly interactions would be commendable if you conducted them with the understanding that you don’t know anything. And they will be ruined if you approached them with the belief that you understand how to conduct them. "
" I am Pure Soul’, that intent is pure intent, and that indeed is absolute humility [param vinaya]. "
" Money is not the only way to ‘oblige’ others with; that depends upon the capacity of the giver. You simply have to maintain in your mind the intent of ‘how can I oblige others’; that intent remains within is all you have to see. "
" At the time of discharge, the doer is different and at the time of charging, the doer is different. How can the world understand this? This is an extremely subtle point made by the vitaraag Lords (absolutely detached Lords)! "
" The one who attains the 'Akram' path, will have his spiritual work done. (On this path), you have neither been made to give up potatoes nor onions. All you have to give up is, the ignorance of the Self (agnan)! "
" One hurls the abuse and the other listens to the abuse. Both are circumstances. No one in this world is the 'doer'. That is precisely what you should be able to see. Everything is vyavasthit (result of scientific circurmstantial evidences) and vyavasthit (energy that runs this world) indeed keeps everything in order. "
" The moment the link between the meditator (dhyata) and the object of meditation (dhyeya) is connected, it is known as meditation (dhyan). When the link breaks, the meditation breaks. Meditating upon the living Gnani Purush (enlightened One) is known as visualization (nididhyasan) while meditating upon an idol (murti) is concentration! "
" By the relative viewpoint (vyavahar), the relative self (atma) is the doer, by the real viewpoint (Nischay) it is the non-doer! Therefore, the pudgal is a non-doer by the relative viewpoint and a doer by the real viewpoint!! "
" As long as there is agnan (ignorance of the Self), the Self (Atma) is a gneya (an object to be known; realized). After Self-realization, the Self is the Knower (Gnata). "
" What is exact meaning of 'relative'? Superfluous [that which is superficial]. "
" There is a purpose to each and every thing that has to be done. If the purpose is that of serving others (sevabhaav), then you will definitely receive wealth (lakshmi) as a 'by-product'. Our purpose should be only this much, 'To use whatever skill/knowledge we know for the intent of serving others. "
" To be able to prevent oneself from acting in accordance to one's own whim and intellect especially in spiritual matters (swachchhand) is known as saiyam. "
" Vyavahaar (worldly interactions) means to bring about satisfaction for the other person. "
" Those who became God’s boss, achieved success and those who became wife’s boss, suffered torture and died! "
" Worldly life is not an impediment, agnan (ignorance of the Self) is. Ignorance of the one's own Self is the impediment. "
