" Are we labouring at some Work too vast for us to perceive? Are our passions and desires mere whips and traces by the help of which we are driven? Any theory seems more hopeful than the thought that all our eager, fretful lives are but the turning of a useless prison crank. Looking back the little distance that our dim eyes can penetrate the past, what do we find? Civilizations, built up with infinite care, swept aside and lost. Beliefs for which men lived and died, proved to be mockeries. Greek Art crushed to the dust by Gothic bludgeons. Dreams of fraternity, drowned in blood by a Napoleon. What is left to us, but the hope that the work itself, not the result, is the real monument? Maybe, we are as children, asking, " Of what use are these lessons? What good will they ever be to us?" But there comes a day when the lad understands why he learnt grammar and geography, when even dates have a meaning for him. But this is not until he has left school, and gone out into the wider world. So, perhaps, when we are a little more grown up, we too may begin to understand the reason for our living "

" Immortal existence..
Sometimes Living is not such an easy task..
Being here or there..
The spirit is the same.. Only changes the place where shows..
Here, the make-up is of meat.. There is infinite LIGHT..
In the flesh, or out of it , what does order is what thinks and what creates..
Each thought, a vibration..
Each action, a reaction..
That doesn't change with the death of the body.. Because actually nobody dies..
We are immortal divine existences.. Believing or not..
So many lives.. So many experiences..
So many faces.. So many dreams..
To each life new opportunities.. New learnings..
The soul Request.. Thirsty to experiment, feels, develop, evolve, grow and so it goes..
The spirit Obeys.. Enters and exit the perishable bodies..
Gets right and misses.. rehearses, Conquers and proceeds..
The spirit is a gift of the architect of the universe for the benefit of all..
It's light.. it's love.. it's eternal..
In the Astral or in the Earth.. There is to educate the thought and to clean the energies around yourself..
Gives some work to do that spiritual maintenance, but it is worthwhile.
It is Light that cleans the Light!
So never forget you are imperishable consciousness..
May a light circle involves and illuminate each soul..
Much light and love in each heart that pulses in the heart of the whole..
Namaste,
Dave "

" Worship, then, needs to be characterized by hospitality; it needs to be inviting. But at the same time, it should be inviting seekers into the church and its unique story and language. Worship should be an occasion of cross-cultural hospitality. Consider an analogy: when I travel to France, I hope to be made to feel welcome. However, I don't expect my French hosts to become Americans in order to make me feel at home. I don't expect them to start speaking English, ordering pizza, talking about the New York Yankees, and so on. Indeed, if I wanted that, I would have just stayed home! Instead, what I'm hoping for is to be welcomed into their unique French culture; that's why I've come to France in the first place. And I know that this will take some work on my part. I'm expecting things to be different; indeed, I'm looking for just this difference. So also, I think, with hospitable worship: seekers are looking for something our culture can't provide. Many don't want a religious version of what they can already get at the mall. And this is especially true of postmodern or Gen X seekers: they are looking for elements of transcendence and challenge that MTV could never give them. Rather than an MTVized version of the gospel, they are searching for the mysterious practices of the ancient gospel. "

" Can we get back to work now?" Haley asked, sounding innocent, but Zoe didn't miss the woman's lips twitchingor the humor sparkling in her eyes. Something told her that this woman truly enjoyed torturing her husband." For god sake's, my little grasshopper, you love the Yankees more than I do! What the hell is going on?" He turned accusing eyes on Zoe. " How dare you brainwash my wife?" he hissed." A re you going to leave so that we can get some work done?" Haley demanded, turning her attention to the computer." No," he said stubbornly, folding his arms over his chest, glaring at them." Buttercream frosting," Haley said softly, never taking her eyes away from her computer screen.Jason licked his lips as he looked his pregnant wife over hungrily. " Tonight?" he croaked out." If you're good," Haley said, with a small shrug. " But you have to leave-" " Bye," Jason said quickly, cutting her off and rushing out of the trailer just as fast as he came. "
