" If selling books is what it’s all about, then I suggest that writing crossover books, those which speak to most readers, religious or not, will have a far greater impact in the long run, and a well-written piece of crossover will brand an author as a serious writer moreso than a limited-audience piece of specific religious material, a fiction “tract” – for that’s what it often is in its essence.
