I write books, make art, play video games, and occasionally stream something to Twitch or YouTube.

Despite being a baby when it comes to jumpscares and horror that's going to stick with me indefinitely, my first published novel is, in fact, a supernatural thriller with a lot of horror elements. The best reasons I have for that is that I'm fed up with bad modern horror stereotypes (particularly in film).

I love a scary story that a) makes me care about the people being terrorized and b) gives me at least one character who refuses to be a victim. That is what I strive to write.

I wear Doc Martens and have two cats named Smudge and Finn. I put random handfuls of my own attributes into my characters (i.e. Miri and I drive the same car and she starts out with the teal hair I've always wanted) and like to test boundaries in writing and formatting.

A few of my favorite works (written and visual) include The Raven Cycle series by Maggie Stiefvater, Over the Garden Wall, the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling, Hitchcock's Rear Window, and (of course) a bunch of Disney.
