After spending 30 years fooling various employers into believing I was a secretary, I retired and began my real career -- that of short-story blogger for my church's newsletter. Eventually, these stories morphed into an actual book for all the world to see. I'm grateful that the Lord convicts, edifying, and encourages me, and allows me to drag everyone else along with me.
