Wu Ming 2 is one of the four members of Wu Ming (extended name: 'Wu Ming Foundation'), a collective of writers based in Italy.

Wu Ming 2's solo production is heterogeneous, but with a definite emphasis on environmental issues. Two of his books describe how the Appennine Mountains were ravaged and polluted in the course of the 20th century.
Wu Ming 2 has started several transmedia projects involving rock musicians, comic authors and graphic artists.
