Why are bios and blurbs so much more difficult than entire stories?

I'm working on the back half of my forties, and though I've been writing all of my life, I never attempted a novel until I was 42. I have my sisters to thank for this adventure, as they did their best to talk me into writing this story in the first place, and continue to ride my ass to get it done! There have always been voices in my head, but now I pay attention to them. I am fascinated with words, and it amazes me that you can put them together in these little sentences, and that gives you the power to create entire worlds.

I live in North Carolina, though I'm forever tied to Colorado and Arkansas. I am a bookworm from way back, an avid lover of chocolate and steak (though not at the same time), and a Smuffin for life!
