Armen Ohanyan

Armen Ohanyan is a writer and PR professional. He started his literary career only after his 30es. His first short stories were published in Inqnagir literary almanac and Gretert literary newspaper. He is an activist of the national movement and his political views are expressed in his works. Ohanyan critisizes contemporary Armenian literature and calls it merely discriptive. His own works have unusual structure and are written in the traditions of contemporary experimental arts, they are interactive and the choice of antagonists is always unexpected and rather eccentric. The reader has an exclusive opportunity to be a part of the narration and to end the story with his own conclusion.

In cooperation with other writer were put down two short stories: The Flying Bicycle, co-author Aram Pachyan and The Last Breakfast, co-author Lilit Karapetyan.

The first book by Aram Ohanyan is a collection of iStories The Return of Kikos, published in 2013.
