Cindy Ann Peterson

Cindy Ann Peterson, AICI CIP is a designer, author, international keynote, style editor, trainer and award winning AICI Internationally Certified Image Professional in the greater Washington, DC and New York City areas who combines these three skills to create a unique synthesis of fashion, image transformation, and education for her broad base of clients from government to industry, and academia.

Peterson received 2014-2015 VIP Award for Excellence in Global Philanthropy in the Fashion and Image Industries and the 2015 VIP Award of global TOP FEMALE EXECUTIVES from The Worldwide Who's Who and The Cambridge Who's Who.

Peterson began her personal journey with her own life-changing scoliosis and her spine collapsing at age 30. Learning how to sew in fifth grade and wearing a Milwaukee brace for 7 years, she also learned how to dress symmetrically when assisting her brother, a polio survivor. She has not only created custom works for the disabled, but has also been a tailor on call to then U.S. President Bill Clinton.

Peterson served 2011-2019 on the Board of Directors for Image Impact International (III), a 501(c) 3 non-profit philanthropic entity engaged in a number of projects, including co-author of the first ebook, "Global Civility Awareness: Fun Conversation Starters in Celebration of Civility, Training 4 Impact Trainer and presenter, Mentoring 4 Impact Trainer and Presenter and the Leader of the III Civility Council.

Peterson has served as a member of the AICI International Executive Board of Directors, AICI International Philanthropy Chair, AICI Washington DC Board of Directors and Advisory from 2010 to 2016 and currently serving as past President. Peterson was awarded the Member of the Year for AICI Washington DC in 2012 and 2011.

Peterson received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Apparel, Textiles and Design and Business. She is not only certified in Image Consulting from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), but is also Universal Style Certified by Alyce Parsons, recognized as the gold standard for the image industry.
