Pat R

Pat R, is the artistic name of Patrícia Ribeiro. Natural from Évora, Portugal, she lived in the city until she was eighteen, moving then to Lisbon, her home city until now. Having grown in an highly artistic environment since early, she developed a particular taste for music, cinema, photography and literature.


She started writing early, having completed her first extensive work by the age twelve. Since then, she dedicated, incessantly, during her graduation years to writing scripts, novels, poetry and short stories. Her first publication dates from 2014.
She studied Artistic Studies, Marketing and Advertising and Cinema and, in 2014, decided to dedicate herself exclusively to writing.

From various influences in all artistic subjects, stands out, literarily, the work of Charles Bukowski, William S. Burroughs, Jack Kerouac, J.G. Ballard, Hemingway, Fitzgerald, William Blake, Emílio Zola, Marguerite Duras, Hunter S. Thompson, Philip Roth, Kathy Acker, Irvine Welsh and Bret Easton Ellis, among so many others.
