Jennifer Samson

Jennifer Samson (she/her) is the author of the coming-of-age saga Sin City series and co-author of the dark comedy/thriller The Final Cut, the first in the Billie and Diana series. She has been published in the literary journals Thursday and The Lyre, as well as the BoldPrint book Friends. Her work has been featured in the Brookline TAB, Toronto Star, Ottawa Citizen and Edmonton Sun.

She enjoys fine-nibbed pens, Hilroy loose leaf paper, corner store candy, adorable cats, and beating her Goodreads Reading Challenge every year. Being Canadian, a love of hockey goes without saying. Although sometimes the Canucks make that love very, very difficult.

She is a member of Gamma Xi Phi, a predominantly African American, anti-racist, non-hazing, all-gender professional fraternity for artists and creators.

She currently resides on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Coast Salish peoples.
