Jerrie Brock

Jerrie shares her life with a herd of stray mutts who crossed her path, some cats who rule the roost with arrogance, geese with attitude issues, peacocks who are terribly impressed with their beauty, and a pot-bellied pig pawned off when the original owner realized he didn't work in a condo. The number of furred and feathered creatures is fluid since they have all discovered that Jerrie is a soft touch for needy critter.

She also spends her time around her large yard on working on a variety of building and gardening projects, and creating model train layouts. She also continues the passion she shared with her late husband of restoring old equipment like tractors, radios, horse drawn wagons, and variety of items picked up on scavenging adventures. An 85 foot Pullman passenger car has been converted to house her ever growing library, thousands of fiction and non-fiction books, some dating to the 18th century.

Jerrie only works to support her habits, including traveling to new places to discover the places off the beaten path. In between all the other obligations and pastimes, she writes. A life long habit, perhaps an obsession, she loves to create stories from reality. Some of her works come from the convoluted path her own life has taken, others come from historic periods based on real events.

She welcomes any questions, any suggestions. A huge thanks to all those who choose to share and enjoy Jerrie's work and pastimes.
