Marisela Marquez

Marisela Marquez is a widow, a mother, trauma survivor, blogger, author, and the founder of embracingwidowhood.com and "The Embracing Widowhood Podcast."

In 2018, Marisela lost her father to cancer, lost her husband in an accident, and had a miscarriage, all within four months apart, right after leaving her corporate career. Her profound losses change the trajectory of her life.

Her losses inspired her to write The Magical Soul Book, an inspirational book for children that inspires hope, comfort, and connection after a loss. Marisela is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Psychology and is a facilitator for virtual widow support groups. She is on the Widow Advocacy Team with the Modern Widows Club and is a member of the National Alliance for Grieving Children.
