Matthew T. Cross

Matthew Cross was born in Boston, MA and currently lives in Newton, MA with his girlfriend Jennifer and their dog Burrito. He graduated from The University of Massachusetts with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and worked as a student advisor for the Engineering Career and Development Center during his final two years of study. Matthew combines his extensive resume knowledge, artistic talent, and literary intelligence to deliver a game changing take on writing resumes in "The Resume Design Book." He incorporates his real world knowledge from a combined 7 years of experience as a designer and engineer in the Medical Device Industry, Defense Industry, Environmental Engineering Consulting Industry, and Commercial Fitness Equipment Industry. Matthew received professional training in Design Thinking at Cornell University with which he has integrated into his books through fun and engaging exercises to help students overcome stigmas surrounding resume writing.
