Nkwachukwu Ogbuagu

Born to Francis and Mary Ogbuagu on 16 January 1968, in Umuahia, south of Nigeria, Nkwachukwu Ogbuagu, poet, novelist, short story writer, painter and drummer, whose painting has been exhibited in Germany, began to write novels at age 15, while in secondary school. On getting into the university, he continued to write stories and poetry, making some of them (his poems, especially), public in his academic department. After obtaining two degrees from Nigerian universities, he published Bosheth Williams, a novel, in 2003. Before then, some of his poems and short stories had appeared in newspapers and journals. In March 2019, he published Words of a Shaman, a novel. In the same period, his novella My Dungarees, was published as eBook in the Amazon Kindle Edition. Over 150 of his poems are published online.
Son of a superintendent of various schools, Ogbuagu has novels, short story collections and poetry awaiting publication.
