Lara Whatley

Lara Whatley is a creative from Southern Ontario. Raised on a healthy dose of fairytales and the outdoors she has a head full of stories and art projects. She indie published her first book at 15, and has since written three more.

She enjoys creating with music and art just as much as she enjoys weaving words together, and loves to try new mediums and transpose movie soundtracks to be played on her harp.

In 2016 she started working with multimedia to bring some of her creative creatures to life. Finding a passion for creating the cute and whimsical, she quickly discovered a new outlet for her hobbies. In 2017 she opened up her Etsy shop, Whatley's Wildlife, where you can find some of these designs to adopt.

She's a student who enjoys a good book, flat whites, the smell of lilacs and vanilla, loves her dogs, and day-dreams about living in a castle in Europe some day.
