ELIZABETH B. BRISTOL received a counseling degree from Mars Hill Graduate School in Seattle, then studied at Jerusalem University College. As a missionary, she found purpose for her wanderlust serving with Living Bread International Church in Jericho where they fed people, hitchhiked through the West Bank, and spent a night each week on top of the Mount of Temptation fasting and praying. With Iris Ministries in Mozambique, she saw miracles and healings on a regular basis even though she often wondered, Will I live through this?

She has driven across the United States forty-eight times to work as a camp counselor, a keynote speaker, and to throw on a hoop skirt and dance the Virginia Reel at a Civil War reenactment.
