" Action is one, two is a coincidence, three of them forms a trend and suggests a pattern. "
― Thomas Vato
" Inequality may not be fair but is necessary for progress. When resources are distributed to people equally, you establish equality of outcome. If you photograph for a living or build rockets to colonize solar system - equality of outcome will establish the same value for both. It does not reward for resource-intensive and risky operations and discourages the development & progress because it's as valuable as photographing. Any reasonable person will do less complicated things if he is compensated in the same way.BUT, when resources are unequally distributed - it distributes values too. It means it systemically designs 'rich & poor' people. It means if you are poor, then you can become rich. To complete this transformation, you must do something valuable. In this way, minor and huge progress happens. No matter if you are rich or poor - you will need opportunities. It is the way we interact with opportunities constructs inequality. "
" If you cannot trust people - trust numbers. Even if they look unbelievable - they never lie. "
" Without a deadline, your work is never over. The power of deadlines leads your work to completion. What is done poorly is better than what is 20% done perfectly assuming person operates on a progress-driven mindset. Then you can improve to make things less bad faster. "
" When the plan is executed with pedantism, creativity and innovation are like shadows in a completely dark room. "
" The secular version of becoming godlike: be excellent. Why? Because people imagine gods as vastly excelled version of themselves. The more excellent, the more god. "
" Setting goals give you a life to live. When you have zero goals, it's the life that consumes you. "
" Setting goals give you a life to live. When you have zero goals its life that consumes you. "
" Debates are just intelligent entertainment. "
" You can think before you do, you can think while you do and you can think after you've done something. If you can think - it often does not matter. Intelligence is impressive but hidden in the bush is useless. What matters is where it leads and what is produced by it. "
" If you can escape math and numbers or be behind it - you become godlike. In case you are human, everything you do or is done to you can be put into a number. "
" If you think you are a rebel in society - a nice relationship. Think about when your heart rebels against you when you are 3x older. A very similar thing in structure when a part rebels against the whole disrespecting the conventional state of things. "
" Success solves old and creates new problems. "
" The reason why I prioritized philosophy over law in my higher education is for my ambivalent relationship with rules. Mathematics compensates it where the mind becomes creative, conceptual and flexible but also logically organized, data and rules-driven. "
" All laws are made to be followed, replaced, broken or improved. The spirit of laws is just like this. "
" I think one of the best things someone can learn in university is to doubt what is obvious. Explain the simple and define the confusing. Complicate what is clear and clarify the complex. That is why you learn it at university, not in school. You cannot memorise it. "
" People get addicted to games and they usually don't get addicted to jobs. If jobs become like games, just imagine how much invested and try hard focused on winning people would become. Either it's a simulation or not - you are playing the game unless you are dead already. More success means playing the game better than others. "
" Anything that has a shape can break. So, if you define the problem - you can break it. But if the problem floats like smoke - you get played. "
" The world would experience 180 degrees improvement if people stopped using ignorance as their fashion statement to be different. But the earth is flat! "
