1 " Beware the God who seeks praise. Beware the guru who presumes to teach that which is unfixed and boundless. Beware the healer who sets a price on aid. Beware the lover who would make you a lesser version of yourself. Beware the doctrines that discourage independent thought. Beware any person of faith who doesn’t understand doubt. Filter all things through yourself. Accept only that which sits right with your soul. "
― L.M. Browning , Seasons of Contemplation: A Book of Midnight Meditations
2 " Since Sienna was in an unusually cooperative mood, the session went well. He was returning from it midmorning - after a short detour - when a small naked body barreled into him in one of the main corridors. Steadying the boy with Tk, he looked down. The child lifted a finger to his lips. " Shh. I'm hiding." With that, he went behind Judd and scrambled into a small alcove. " Quickly! Not sure why he obeyed the order, Judd backed up to stand in front of the alcove, arms crossed. A flustered Lara came running around the corner a few seconds later. " Have you seen Ben? Four-year-old. Naked as a jaybird?" " How tall is he?" Judd asked in his most overbearing Psy manner.Lara stared. " He's four. How tall do you think he is? Have you seen him or not?" " Let me think...did you say he was naked?" " He was about to be bathed. Slippery little monkey." A giggle from behind Judd.Lara's eyes widened and then her lips twitched. " So you haven't seen him?" " Without a proper description, I can't be sure." The healer was obviously trying not to laugh. " You shouldn't encourage him - he's incorrigible as it is." Judd felt childish hands on his left calf and then Ben poked his head out. " I'm incorwigeable, did ya hear?" Judd nodded. " I do believe you've been found. Why don't you go have your bath?" " Come on, munchkin." Lara held out a hand.Surprisingly strong baby arms and legs wrapped around Judd's leg. " No. I wanna stay with Uncle Judd." Lara anticipated his question. " Ben spends a lot of time with Marlee." " I spend a lot of time with Marlee," a small voice piped up. "
3 " Compassion is not a relationship between the healer and the wounded. It's a relationship between equals. Only when we know our own darkness well can we be present with the darkness of others. Compassion becomes real when we recognize our shared humanity. "

4 " Your pain is not prescribed by your creator, He is the healer thus not giver of misery. We are victims of others; lay the blame where it belongs.Mankind is responsible for its environment and culture, the earth was in its purest form when Adam arrived (blessing on our first prophet) Culture created by man for power. The day we take responsibility for our actions, will be the day God walks through the door smiling "

5 " True healers know that wellness is the order of the day, so they do not allow themselves, even for a moment, to see anything other than that. So, the power of the healer is in the power to influence the one who needs to be healed into a vibration that allows the healing that they are summoning. (that they could get, even without the healer, but they can get faster with a healer's influence). "
6 " Those who are wounded wound others. Moses was wounded profoundly when he lost his birth family, his heritage, and his history. In the years to come, he would come to know Jehovah-rophe, the Healer of life’s sicknesses and sorrows. Exodus 15: 26b says, “…for I am the Lord, who heals you.” (from Under His Wings: Healing Truth for Adoptees of All Ages) "
― Beth Willis Miller , Under His Wings...healing truth for adoptees of all ages
7 " Medical judgment can be taught - laboriously, in long periods of training - but it cannot be neatly handed over as the occasion demands it. It is the irreplaceable and untransferable contribution that the healer makes to the suffering individual who would be healed. "
