1 " 4-19-10 Monday 1:00 P.M. Today the gas was turned off – more panic reactions. I’m wondering if the darkest hour is just before the dawn and all those wonderful cliches. I don’t see anyway out of my current situation, at least any quality of life I’m willing to accept. It’s just too much to think about right now. I lost the gas stove, the heat, and the water heater. Hmm cold showers, but found an electric crock pot and frying pan, and I still have the microwave. I don’t know what I’ll do if I lose the water. My mother told me there’s a family who pitched a tent in the forest preserve. Somehow the father’s still working and keeping his two kids in school, with a little help from a local church. And it’s good to know the forest rangers have a heart and have looked the other way. I wouldn’t be surprised to hear that they’ve dropped off some food and supplies. Isn’t that America. "

2 " We face a dark time in the history of God’s people . . . the forces of evil seem to be gathering for a colossal assault on the work of God in the world. In the darkest hour God can still revive His people, and by the Holy Spirit breathe new vigor and power into the body of Christ. "
― Billy Graham , Billy Graham in Quotes
3 " I am a shadow. I walk the wet roads under the dim light of the pale lamps, in the darkest hour of the cold dull nights.I walk past the silent graveyard of the dead memories, towards the city of chaos plagued with gloom.I do not exist, but in the eyes of the shattered souls. In the chapter of an old book. In the poem. In the smile of a wrecked and in the tear of a broken spirit.Listen me in the songs told in the times long forgotten.Search for me in the churchs and temples, bars and brothels, pitch black nights and the colorless days.Dive down in your deepest part of your soul. And you will find my home.I have many faces but I have no face of my own. I am a shadow. "
4 " The day after the darkest hour is always the most beautiful. "
― Wheston Chancellor Grove
5 " It is in the darkest hour that a star reveals its brightest light. "
6 " In the darkest hour the soul is replenished and given strength to continue and endure. "
7 " The story of Christian reformation, revival, and renaissance underscores that the darkest hour is often just before the dawn, so we should always be people of hope and prayer, not gloom and defeatism. God the Holy Spirit can turn the situation around in five minutes. "
