1 " Hearing has consequences. When I truly hear a person and the meanings that are important to him at that moment, hearing not simply his words, but him, and when I let him know that I have heard his own private personal meanings, many things happen. There is first of all a grateful look. He feels released. He wants to tell me more about his world. He surges forth in a new sense of freedom. He becomes more open to the process of change. I have often noticed that the more deeply I hear the meanings of the person, the more there is that happens. Almost always, when a person realize he has been deeply heard, his eyes moisten. I think in some real sense he is weeping for joy. It is as though he were saying, " Thank God, somebody heard me. Someone knows what it's like to be me. "

No," I say looking at Peeta with a new sense of apreciation. " Neither of us even knew what we were going to do before we went in." " And Haymitch?" says Peeta. " We decided we don't want any other allies in the arena." " Good. Then I won't be responsible for you killing off any of my friends with your stupidity," he says. "
5 " It's time to fundamentally change the way that we do business in Washington. To help build a new foundation for the 21st century, we need to reform our government so that it is more efficient, more transparent, and more creative. That will demand new thinking and a new sense of responsibility for every dollar that is spent. "
6 " Making duplicate copies and computer printouts of things no one wanted even one of in the first place is giving America a new sense of purpose. "
― Andy Rooney
7 " I'm a futurist. Technology is our way out of almost every problem we have. Technology can create a new sense of community. "
