Everything is about human excellence and human laws, taking us towards collective divinity. When right wingers externalize the idea of perfection, it is in the concept of the market (guided by the “invisible hand” – the magic hand!), or, more traditionally, in a single being, “God”. Right wingers reject the State, government – all “manmade” institutions – as an affront to “liberty”. They then kneel to a cosmic dictator and accept all of his tyrannical laws – because they are about divine, “natural” law rather than the profane, “artificial” law of men, which is always to be rejected in the name of “freedom”.
