QUOTE : whatever happens on earth is only a transitory dream picture projected in time and space by ourselves. We only need to take it seriously in so far as it adds to our experience. But it takes a long, long time to reach this degree of ability! We have to keep ourselves under the strictest observation, must never forget ourselves for a moment, must always be conscious and aware, always analysing every feeling, every thought, to determine in what stratum of the self it has originated. And all this is not something one can learn to do from one day to the next!
